Iran's daily gas deliveries to power plants have exceeded 200mn m 3 /d since the start of the third month of the current fiscal year (March 21). But the cumulative amount of gas delivered to that sector this fiscal year (FY) is still 3.6% less than in the same period of last FY. In the first three weeks of this month (May 22 - June 11), power plants took 213mn m 3 /d, while from March 21 to May 21 they took about 144mn m 3 /d in average, the latest weekly statistics of Iran's energy ministry indicate. During 83 days of fiscal year, Iran delivered about 13.446bn m 3 , or 162mn m 3 /d to power plants. According to the report, the country’s total raw gas production rose from 581.3mn m 3 /d in August 2013 to 718.7mn m 3 /d in 2015 and further increased to 793.7mn m 3 /d March 2016. The volume of sweetened gas in the previous Iranian calendar year (March 2015-March 2016) was 175.8bn m 3 , or 481.6mn m 3 /d.
